multimillonario estadounidense Donald Trump cree que, con el tiempo, las turbulencias que atraviesa la eurozona desembocarán en una ruptura de la moneda única. Pero, lejos de constituir una preocupación, el inversor ve esta hipótesis como una oportunidad. «Tienes que tomártelo con calma, pero hay un montón de grandes oportunidades en Europa; no cabe duda», destacó el inversor en una entrevista para la cadena estadounidense CNBC. Las gangas, a su juicio, se encuentran sobre todo en el sector inmobiliario. En el Viejo Continente «puedes comprar por nada de dinero, puedes comprar tierra por nada, puedes comprar de todo por nada», remachó.

España, cuyos crecientes costes de financiación de deuda pública se han convertido en el epicentro de la crisis europea, es uno de los países en los que se pueden adquirir estos chollos, según Trump. «España es un país increíble. Es un gran país, pero está enfermo y este es el momento de aprovecharlo».

Ruptura del euro

Trump avanzó que, incluso, estudia realizar una operación en el continente, aunque ofreció pocos detalles. «Yo mismo estoy mirando cosas (es tan ridículo e irrisorio) y estoy pensando en hacer algo con un grupo» de inversores.

Trump, quien actualmente dispone de una fortuna de 2.900 millones de dólares, restó importancia al posible regreso de las economías europeas a su divisa anterior y descartó que esto diera lugar a una recesión internacional. «El mundo continuará. ¿Nos afectaría? Probablemente, pero no creo que tan negativamente como algunas personas dicen».
